Mr. John C. Eslinger recently celebrated 50+ years in aviation. He served in many capacities during that time, as a flight line mechanic, an aviation college professor, and a commercial pilot. Although he was never a member of the military, he served two tours in Vietnam as a civilian, supporting Army Aviation.

Afterwards Mr. Eslinger worked for the US Air Force as a civilian in aviation logistics. His borescoping career started when he was selected as Manager of Technical Training at AVIALL in Dallas in 1989. This led Mr. Eslinger to his borescope training career, starting with Pratt & Whitney Customer Training in 1991. In 1996, he left the corporate world & started his first aviation company, AVTEAM Aviation Field Services, where he was the President & Co-Founder.

Mr. Eslinger continues to teach borescoping classes worldwide, as well as conducting borescope inspections through his company. Mr. Eslinger is known around the world for his teaching style. His classes are casual, relaxed and participative. He promotes his life philosophy of making learning fun and, in the end, everyone learns to borescope.
